Nathaniel, ED RN
With a family deeply rooted in healthcare, Nathaniel has found his calling in nursing and is eager to grow his skills in a fast-paced environment. He values the supportive and teaching-focused culture at Providence Swedish. Fun fact: Nathaniel loves paddleboarding and exploring the beautiful lakes and hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest!
Providence Swedish is a fantastic place to learn and grow. The supportive culture and hands-on experience here are unmatched.
What inspired you to join Providence Swedish?
I chose Providence Regional Medical Center Everett because of its busy and high acuity emergency department (ED). It’s a place where I can learn and gain skills that I wouldn’t have the opportunity to develop elsewhere. The ED offers so many moments to practice in-depth skills and grow as a healthcare professional.
What do you appreciate about the culture here?
The culture here is excellent for learning. Everyone is so supportive and willing to teach, which creates a rich environment for growth. I’d encourage any nursing student to work here as a nurse tech because it’s a great way to build confidence and solidify your skills before becoming an RN.
What makes you want to stay at Providence Swedish?
The teaching environment here is phenomenal. I know the skills and confidence I’m building will serve me well in my future as a registered nurse. I’m grateful to be part of a team that prioritizes both patient care and staff growth.
